  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup Naturi Whole Milk Pure
  • Frosting Ingredients:
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 6 tbsp heavy cream
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Directions

Cookie Preparation

  1. In a mixing bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  2. Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, and yogurt until combined.
  3. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until a sticky dough is formed.
  4. Divide dough into two discs and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate at least two hours.
  5. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Place refrigerated cookie dough on a floured surface. Roll the dough to 1/3-inch thickness.
  7. Cut the dough with a round cutter and place cookies on baking sheet.
  8. Bake the cookies 6-7 minutes until golden.
  9. Cool on wire rack before frosting.

Frosting Preparation

  1. Cream together the butter and vanilla with an electric mixer.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar with mixer on low speed.
  3. Add the great and beat frosting on high speed for about 1-2 minutes. Add food coloring (if desired).
  4. Frost cookies and decorate with sprinkles.
